- $100 – Sailor rate. Entry to Hackboat!

What if I can't make it?
We get it. Life happens. Tickets are non-refundable because we book and pay for the boat well in advance, but they are transferable. If you can't make it, find someone who'd love to take your spot and email hackboat@bsidespdx.org with their name so we can update the manifest.
One catch: t-shirt sizes are locked in by May 10th when we place the order. Transfers after that date inherit whatever size the original ticket holder selected.
How can I help make Hackboat happen?
- Buy a ticket! We charge only what we have to in order to book the boat - it's your purchase that pays for it.
- Spread the word! Tell cool people you'd like to hang out with that they should come too.
- Sponsor the conference! Check out the Sponsor tab for details.
What hours will the Hackboat be cruising?
Time on the water should be from 10am to 2pm.
Food and drinks?
Lunch and appetizers are provided. There is a bar, but Hackboat attendees have to pay for their own drinks.
Internet?
There is no internet provided on the boat - you will need cell service if you want connectivity. Or, take the time to unplug and connect with the people around you!
Is this an infinitely sized Hackboat?
No. The boat holds 85 people. Tickets go fast!
Are you making money from this?
BSidesPDX is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Nobody is paid for Hackboat. Ticket revenue covers costs; sponsorships fund future events and are tax-deductible. Anything received over the cost to put this on are put towards the next one (and other cool events).
Where can I find more information about the boat itself?
